She is You and You are Her

Close your eyes

Do you see her?

She is you and you are her.

She was so innocent

And free

Unburied by the heaviness that would come

She smiled, she giggled

She trusted…

and she deserved care.

She is you and you are her.

She would endure pain

That no little girl should ever have to carry

She would take on a burden of

Guilt, shame, low self-esteem and lost identity

And now she lives, inside of you

Suffering, hoping for the day when she can

Be free to smile and live carefree again

Take her by the hand.

Won’t you take her by the hand.

Wipe away her tears and pick her up

From her broken, torn, fragile emotional prison.

Carry her to the SAFE PLACE

HOME

to the Father of Light

You allow that child inside of you to heal

So that the woman in you will survive

Not just in theory or well put wording

But to walk in true freedom of supernatural strength, courage, wisdom, grace, joy, and…

Peace

Oh, how she’ll smile again

Through her the Light will glow

But it will take you reaching back there for her

And bringing forth the hurt that hurt her

Get to know when things changed

So that you can join with the Father

to break those deceptive chains

She is looking to you

and you can look to the Creator

Don’t allow the lie of defeat to steal your life

Any longer

Press forward, fix your gaze on Love again

You need her and she needs you

Because she is you and you are her.
