He wiped my tears, He held me.
He counseled me:
The enemy worked hard to destroy you
but He didn’t because I love you, and I have a purpose just for you to do.
People around you tried to keep you trapped.
Convincing you to stay in the cloud of pain
because it would protect their sin.
But their sin isn’t yours to carry or protect.
Only Jesus can take on a human’s sin.
Sin carries a wage
and there is nothing you are supposed to do to pay the wage for them
just like they can’t for you.
So you be free.
Don’t take it on anymore.
I know it will be hard to manage
how to emotionally and spiritually respond to their reaction.
But know you aren’t alone, and I will give you strength.
I will be here the whole way through,
and give you perspective and wisdom
on how to navigate it all.
I need you to know, daughter
you have permission to heal.
You don’t have to request this from anyone else.
You don’t have to explain why you must release what is hurting you.
You don’t need their permission to love you.
Beautiful daughter of God,
you have permission to heal.
